Carolina Breuer is a designer of decorative objects of textile.
The collection consists of ‘one offs’ and small series and are cushions, bedpreads, wallhangings, ottoman, lamps and screens. For this we make use of exquisite vintage and antique textiles, such as Japanese obi and kimono and other ‘objects trouvé’, such as a series of Italian ‘Murano’ lampbases and handprinted Mariano Fortuny textiles. Studio Carolina Breuer seeks to find the perfect combination between East and West, old and new resulting in a “bohemian’ collection.
